[Six Sentence Sunday/WIP Wednesday]

Tagged by: @bazzybelle 💅

I don't know what the rules are, except maybe to post on either a Wednesday or a Sunday, and it has to have at least 6 sentences? 👀 (please correct me if I'm wrong 😂)

Anyway, here are some sentences from the Dreamling Tiny!Dream AU ✨️ I wrote instead of sleeping, after someone on discord shared a photo of the BDSM Barbie kit.

Tagging: @lostelfwriting , @karalynlovescake , @janimoon , and @mallory-x . Any one of you could have stopped me, but you didn't! 😭 And I know I said it had 1.6k words, but that was before. It has gotten even longer now. 😂

"Hob."

"Just a minute, darling," Hob says distractedly. He's currently uploading his students' grades, and it's a task that he has difficulty with (due to the university's crap online grading system), so he is justified in ignoring Dream for just one measly minute.

A truly heart-wrenching sigh sounds from behind him, and Hob, despite himself, turns to look.

Dream's floating doll castle, which had originally been the dollhouse of a New Inn employee's child that they have recently outgrown, is in its usual place in the corner of his study. The black banners are still flying in an unseen wind, the highest tower is still where the rookery is, and Hob can't really tell right now if Dream has changed anything about the exterior, except--

Oh.

That's new.

Usually, the interior of the doll house ("Doll castle," Dream had insisted), shows only a single room. The room where Dream currently is. Hob doesn't quite know how it works, if it rotates, or if it has a bigger-on-the-inside technology like the TARDIS. (Hob doesn't say that to Dream, though, because he has enough daddy issues.)

Well, the room where Dream is at right now is a room Hob has never seen before.

Oh, he's seen the library, the gardens, and even the swimming pool, but this is the first time he's seeing the sex dungeon.

janimoon asked:

I absolutely ADORED A Man of Good Fortune and while I can't believe I'm leaving out Dream (sorry Dream), do you have a snip of Hob and Orpheus bonding, maybe playing pirates?

Because Hob with a kid is just killing me with fluff

softest-punk answered:

Everything I actually *have* is posted but that cannot stop me writing a little Hob-Orpheus bonding (from Dream’s POV because I couldn’t quite leave him out)

“Now, on a ship with more than one mast, you’d have square rigging,” Hob explains. “Which goes across the deck, side to side. But as this is your first command, Captain, this little sloop is what’s called fore-and-aft rigged.”

“Fore’naft,” Orpheus repeats, beaming up at Hob. The oversized tricorn settled precariously on his tiny head tips back, but does not quite fall off.

AI cannot effectively replace actors, writers, and artists. We're at a minimum DECADES away from that technology. People are going to read AI-generated novels and watch AI-generated movies and realize they're derivative, repetitive, and confusing. It's not going to work.

But you know who CAN be replaced effectively by AI? C-levels. I'm pretty sure an AI CEO can have an expensive virtual lunch with an AI CMO to discuss "synergy," while human subordinates do exactly what they do right now—the actual work. And you'd save MILLIONS per replaced employee.

Anonymous asked:

I’m here for dream doesn’t know anything about sex and is a bit terrified. He’s like 3 seconds from crying at all times, you think he’s gonna emotionally survive someone taking his shirt off? No way. They APPROACH a horizontal surface and he starts shaking. He’s fought Lucifer but someone (hob) touching his body? No way. He doesn’t think he deserves any of it. Hand holding makes him go insane after so long in a glass bubble. And then someone’s like “I’m really good at sex, want to do sex?” And he breaks down crying cause that’s SO MUCH.

Anyway

Hob has a virginity kink cause he’s a 1300’s peasant. This is an absolute win for him.

*chewing 🦐 anon in my mouth very gently* yeah. YEAH

I feel like the dichotomy of Dream is that he is CRYING OUT for a slutty, slutty physical relationship… but if one single atom of another being’s physical body touches him, he WILL set himself on fire. And even if he has done sex before he got captured, its all different now.

And Hob is just a guy. It shouldn’t work. But it does. Because Hob has cried his way through decades of trauma and hypersexuality and sex he doesn’t even remember because of one substance or another. And he is not going to let his friend go from one form of trauma (fish bowl) to another (sex that he doesn’t really want).

This means: finding out what kind of sex Dream does want. He doesn’t have to get naked. He doesn’t have to touch anything that’s cold or feels like glass. He can say no. He can say no without having to actually say no. They can stop when they’re both still hard. It doesn’t matter if he never gets hard in the first place.

Hob is having a great time!!! He enjoys seeing Dream in this place of self discovery. Its the closest Dream gets to admiting that he is actually a person who deserves to makes choices and have, ya know, dreams. Sex can be about healing when it’s done with good intentions and at the end of the day, all Hob wants is to have Dream safe in his bed. He’ll buy as many sets of pyjamas and bundle on as many blankets to the bed as it takes.

And if he gets to make Dream fall asleep with a lovely sloppy blowjob, then that’s even better ❤

i just don’t see what the snw writers goal is at all

like what is the point of writing a prequel that’s almost entirely negated by the source material you based it off of?

what is the point of creating random love interests and ‘character development’ for spock when it makes no sense with his tos character development?

like logically i know that paramount just wants a cash cow and that’s why they try and use already well liked characters while canceling shows people actually liked before they even got a chance to thrive just because they weren’t making enough money

but it still makes no sense to me that in a well established fandom with so much source material to choose from they still decided to write nearly unrecognizable versions of characters that people have loved for decades

star trek fans will watch any star trek show you write, please just make new characters instead of whatever this is
